I really LOVED this book! I've not had a good paranormal in a long while and this was exactly what I needed. It was like the D&D from the good old days but better. There are sexy gargoyles, vampires, mages, necromancers, werewolves, trolls, zombies, an oracle, a secret guild and sooo much more.
I am absolutely in love with Terak and Larissa. I really liked that Larissa was not a warrior but she wasn't completely helpless either. She fought back and defended herself and others and she's smart. Terak was alpha but not overbearing. I want a gargoyle to love me and wrap me in his wings! I'm really excited to see what the next book brings. Im pretty sure it has something to do with Fallon. I think... that Fallon is really a Dragon. I'm not completely sure and the book doesn't say for sure, but I'm kind of getting a feeling.
The only thing in the book that I feel could have been different... is that Chapter 1 really should have been a prologue. OH!! And I think this book would make a GREAT movie! I would pay to see this.
